The Bachelor: It's All For The Love of Jake

Does The Bachelor want to find love or not?!
The series 'The Bachelor' revolves around a single man who chooses a potential wife from among 25 women. In past seasons, bachelors have included a doctor, a prince, an NFL player, a millionaire, and this season, a pilot. (A very attractive one, at that.) The show follows the bachelor as he goes on a series of dates with the women, some of them group dates, some one-on-one dates, and some of them two-on-one dates. On each episode women are eliminated, generally during the rose ceremony at the end of the episode. At the end of the show, the bachelor chooses one woman with whom he would like to continue a relationship. Sometimes he proposes marriage, sometimes other levels of commitment.
This season's bachelor is 30-year-old Jake Pavelka. He ditched Kathryn Sherlock and Ella Nolan on their group date, then gave the boot to Ashleigh Hunt and Jessie Sulidis during Monday night's rose ceremony. I'm sure fans of Jake Pavelka were left confused and pondered this Bachelor's romantic intentions.
But according to the wingman (and host) Chris Harrison, Jake just knows what he wants—even if that means bringing back some of the women for a second shot at love.
Wait. So does this means he is bringing one of the women back to the show?
I guess this goes to show that Jake is in control and isn't messing around here. If he doesn't see a future in a relationship, he's not going to drag it out and let the women stay there when he isn't interested and doesn't want to waste a perfectly good rose on them.
Although, apparently in The Bachelor world, it takes a woman leaving, then coming back, to see if that future really exists.
Who could possibly return to the show after all of the drama that happened?
We had Michelle. She was nuts. The girl was simply on the show to make the bachelor fall in love with her and marry her. She wanted kids. Jake was looking for love, Michelle just wanted to be the winner in the end and fly off into the sunset with her pilot. Not happening!
Then we had good old Rozlyn, the tall, blonde supermodel. She was totally devoted to Jake... and another guy too. He was a staffer who worked on the show, but was fired due to an inappropriate relationship he entered into with Rozlyn. Instead of receiving a rose that night, she received an hour to pack her stuff and was asked to leave the show. Side note to Rozlyn: when you are on a show called The Bachelor, try not to "extend" yourself to other men, especially ones who work on the production team.
Last but not least, there's Vienna. All of the women hate her and say nasty things about her. However, she eggs it on. I'm pretty sure everyone wants her off the show. The 23-year-old is a little too forward with Jake, which completely puts him off. Yet at each rose ceremony, she keeps getting a darn rose.
Got to love reality television, right?

Keeping Up with the Kardashians...Let's Not.

When all anyone can write about or put on the front of their magazine cover is something about the Kardashians, you know that the entertainment business is not doing so hot. There comes a time when we, the young pop-crazed powerful generation, do NOT want to hear about what the Kardashians are doing. Please, media, give it a rest. It's boring now. I would like to hear more about other talents starting out. Something refreshing. The point of this particular blog is just to say-well, no-to BEG everyone writing about the Kardashians to stop and think of something else we would like to hear about. Mix things up a bit. If for some reason you do not know, Keeping Up with the Kardashians is a reality television series airing on E!. The show debuted on October 14, 2007. The series is all about the lives of the Kardashian/Jenner family, the former of which consists of the ex-wife and children of late attorney Robert Kardashian. There's Khloé, Kim, and Kourtney and a boatload more. I for one cannot keep up. Actually, I probably could...I am just choosing not to.

We're All Going Gaga For GaGa

You either love her or you... well, we pretty much all LOVE her. (OK, some people aren't the biggest fans, and that's fine. To each his/her own!) However, she hit us with the songs that got stuck in our head for weeks, regardless if you wanted to be humming it nonstop! "Just Dance", "Love Games", "Poker Face", "Paparazzi", and "Bad Romance," to name a few chart toppers.
Lady Gaga was born Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta on March 28, 1986. She began performing in the rock music scene of New York City's Lower East Side.
Her debut album, The Fame, was released in August, 2008. In addition to receiving generally positive reviews, it went number-one in four countries, and topped the Billboard Top Electronic Albums chart in the United States. It earned a total of six Grammy Award nominations, including Best Electronic/Dance Album and Album of the Year. By the end of 2009, she released her second studio album The Fame Monster and began The Monster Ball Tour.
She's got crazy fashion, inspired by art and beauty, and never fails to give a great performance. To date, she has sold over eight million albums and 35 million singles digitally worldwide. Got to admit, she has put in hard work and started with nothing, she lowered her concert tickets as well as CD price, connects with her fans (she said she felt like a freak in high school,) and all of the proceeds from her concert will go to help those in Haiti. Go GaGa! Keep up the good work, the awesome fashion and the hot beats. We're obsessed.
